Hello there

So, I've been contemplating starting a blog for some time now and after a conversation with a blogging-friend today, I finally decided to go for it. Gasp! Did I really, seriously, just figure out how to link that in on my FIRST blog post, ever?!? Cool!

I don't really know what I will talk about on this blog. I don't have any specific theme, or agenda, or.....whatever else you might chronicle on a blog.....but, I'm going to go for it!

So, the topic of my first blog? Blog-stalking. There must be a more favorable way to describe it, but let me tell you, I find innumerable joy in reading posts of complete and total STRANGERS. Never, ever in my wildest dreams would I have guessed this (ok, maybe....since I'm probably the nosiest person I know, but still). I leap from blog to blog to blog and read until I find myself asking: WHY? given that I don't even know this person, am I the slighest bit interested in their darling son's new mohawk, or their random encounter with a freaky police office. Seriously? I have spent hours reading about the lives of people I DO. NOT. KNOW. And why? But, why not?

And so, with that, I'm going to kick off my own blog. Will anyone "stalk" it? Maybe and maybe not, but I'll yammer on to my heart's content.

Maybe next time, I will post a list of, at least a few of - anyway, the folks I find intriguing and enjoyable. Mostly discovered via my dear baking (& now blogging) sensei, Jeanelle. (And that's "scent-say" not "scent-see" thank you very much).
